Policies, Code of Conduct and Attendance.

Policies of Conduct
We do not discriminate on the basis of color, sex, gender, race or any provisions that can be used as a basis of discrimination. This is an all inclusive and safe space. At no time, by anybody, shall any religious comments be made that are derogatory, objectionable or hurtful to any faith. Upon violation of these policies and otherwise, we reserve the right to deny admission or continuation of services to any parent or student. People come from different beliefs, faiths, social and financial statuses that are not open to comments, discussions or judgements. No sensitive topics at any time may be discussed. Proclamation of one’s believes in a way that is derogatory to another’s is not allowed. Practice of one’s believes in a way that is not pressing on or demeaning to others is welcome. Expression of oneself is not prohibited, oppression of the other is.

Religion, believes, preferences, orientations are personal choices and should not be dicussed in a manner that is derogatory to another. No stereotypical comments shall be entertained and may have legal consequences. Harsimran Sidhu Art or any affiliate is not responsible for any comments, gestures, or actions of one party deemed offensive by another party. An offender (student or parent) are responsible for their comments and we are not liable for any damages caused by them. No sexual harrasment, flirtation, or inappropriate comments, actions, advances, gestures or suggestions shall be entertained at any part of the property and will have serious legal actions.

At any time, for any reason and to anybody, we reserve the right to deny services without a prior notice or clarification.

Drop-off, Pick-up and Safety Policies
Parents are advised to watch their children enter the main door. We are not responsible for any mishap that might occur between the car and the front door. The parents are responsible for the supervision of their children. Registration for the classes indicates the parent’s and the child’s understanding that the classes are conducted in a house environment where objects of daily use like house cleaners, knives, scissors etc. which can be harmful without supervision are available and that we cannot monitor every single child at all times. Registration for classes indicated the parent assuming responsibility for the child’s safety and the parent is liable and responsible for any accidents that might occur during class. Registration also implies that we are not responsible for any accidents that might happen during class.

The parent is also liable for any damages to personal or commercial property of the instructor or fellow students and may have to compensate for the same.

No unauthorized person is allowed to check the student out at any time without the prior consent of and communication from the parent. The children will be held until the parent is available to verify and authorize pick-up by a person not authorized in advance. A written consent is needed everytime a person other than the parent is picking up a student. This can be done through email or text message. If an unauthorized individual persists and insists on picking up the child and the parent is not available for communication, law enforcement may be called as needed.

Attendance and Refund Policies

Attendance is encouraged for all classes upon registration. Refunds are not issued for classes missed. A prior notice of absense must be emailed to hjss.art@gmail.com

We reserve the right to cancel, postpone or prepone classes without prior notice. We will stive to but are not obligated to personally inform each parent of the upcoming changes in schedule. It is the responsibility of the parent to maintain the most up-to-date knowlegde by visisting the uploaded schedule periodically. We will strive to but are not obligted to have updated information at all times. The website is subject to human and technical errors and delays. Assistance is always available for any missed classes outside of schedule except Sundays. Upon registration for a month, no part of the fee shall be refunded. The missed classes can be accomodated in future lessons but we are not always obligated to do so and are subject to the availability of the instructor.
